  18. Yo! Guyz,Green-Beret/SUBMiSSiON here with some iNFO on iRELANDS second 
  19. AMiGA pardey which will take place on 7th March 1993.

  22. Why Have A Pardey!
  23. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  24. Ok well,this pardey is a follow up to the very successful Eclipse '92
  25. which took place last August in Dublin's Royal Dublin Hotel.
  26. Hopefully with a lot of effort,this pardey can improve on where the
  27. last pardey went wrong.
  28.  
  29. 80 dudes turned out for the last pardey.The purpose of such a pardey
  30. is so all the dudes on the iRiSH scene can meet each other and generally
  31. have loadza phun.Dudes who attend can enter the graphics/musak/demo comps
  32. & take part in cool game playing comps.

  34. Overall the main aim of the pardey is to show the world that there is an
  35. AMiGA scene in iRELAND and most importantly,that we can be as good as
  36. anyone else when it comes to releasing top quality warez.
  37.  
  38. WHEN & WHERE ?

  40. The pardey will take place on Sunday 7th March 1993 in Dublin's Gresham
  41. Hotel,on Dublin's O'Connell ST.
  42.  
  43. The pardey doors will promptly open at 12 midday and close at approx 22:00.

  45. WHO WiLL BE THERE ?

  47. Meet iRELAND's top AMiGA dudes and finally put a face or voice on that
  48. postal contact.
  49. The pardey is being organised by SUBMiSSiON iRELAND so you can contact one
  50. of their Pardey Reps,either Green-Beret or Summoner,on the day.
  51.  
  52. Hopefully the following iRiSH groups will be attending:-
  53. Exodus         Quadriga         Eclipse         Mdma
  54.  
  55. And you can even meet iRELANDS NO#1 voted computer dude Polaris/Eclipse.

  57. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING ?

  59. Ok for dudes that haven't been to a pardey before,heres how it goes.
  60.  
  61. If at all possible,bring your own computer and monitor.
  62. Our experience from past pardies both in Europe and iReland is that people
  63. get really cheesed off on the day if they have to wait to use someone elses
  64. computer for either copying disks or for just put the finishing touches on
  65. one of their competition entries.
  66.  
  67. External drives are especially welcome on the day in order to speed up
  68. disk duplication and for the general faster flow of the pardey.
  69.  
  70. Blank Disks on the day can be obtained from Computer City Computer Store
  71. which is less than 1 minute walk from the Pardey Venue.The store opens
  72. from 12 midday until approx 17:00,disks can be purchased for approx IR.50p
  73. each,which may be a little expensive,so we recommend that you bring your 
  74. own blanks in advance.If anybody can provide disks on the day at a 
  75. reasonable price,then contact one of the organisers.

  77. Don't forget your pardey ticket on the day as no tickets will be sold
  78. on the day due to Hotel rules.

  80. WHATS THE TIMETABLE ?

  82. :00  PARDEY DOORS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
  83. :00  COMPETITION TIME STARTS IN THIS ORDER.
  84.        Demo Competition.
  85.        Graphics (both raytraced pictures and normal gfx will be accepted).
  86.        Musak comp.
  87.        Game playing comp [probably Lotus Challenge and Kick off]

  89. :00  Results of the various competitions will be announced.

  91. WHATS THERE OTHER THAN COMPUTER EVENTS !

  93. MANTIS Will be playing some of the best -E-LECTRO musak around throughout
  94. the pardey and even doing LiVE MiXiNG!

  96. There will be full Bar facilities for the duration of the pardey !!HiC HiC!!
  97. Wanna star on our ace Pardey Video!!The cameras will be rolling from start to
  98. finish and a video will be available a few days afterwards.

  100. WHAT WARES WILL BE GOING AROUND ?

  102. All the top warez of the day will be available both SCeNE and pardey 
  103. productions.Again it's essential that we have plenty machines in order
  104. to make things move smoothly.

  112. A Voting sheet will be handed out to all who want to take part in the event
  113. to vote in the best gfx/musak and demo entries.

  115. ALL PRODUCTIONS WILL BE SPREAD GLOBALLY!

  117. Remember we are trying to prove to the world that we can release top
  118. quality productions and Green-Beret/Submission,Gazzer/Eclipse,Polaris/Ecl
  119. J/\Y/Eclipse as well as some other euro dudes will globally spread all the
  120. aprdey productions.
  121. Gremlin graphics Irl will also be there so hopefully they can appreciate
  122. some of ireland top quality crews!

  142. computer events.
